Jackie Robinson was born in Cairo, Georgia in 1919. Jackie had four siblings, A sister named Willa Mae Robinson, and three brothers named Frank Robinson, Mack Robinson, and Edgar Robinson. Jackie Robinson attended Cleveland Elementary School, Washington Middle School, John Muir High School, and UCLA College in Los Angeles California. In high school and college, he played football, basketball, and baseball, and ran track and field. In 1942 he was drafted into the US military. In 1944 he was court-martialed after false accusations by the prejudiced officer and jury that confirmed his removal from the military not long after that Jackie started playing baseball.
