Mikey, Doerr 5th perid 10-4-18Ebola When living in or traveling to a region where Ebola virus is widespread, there are a number of ways to protect yourself and prevent the spread of EVD. Practicing good hand hygein is an effective method in preventing the spread of dangerous germs, like the Ebola virus. Proper hand hygiene means washing hands often with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer etc. Ebola is a major risk of getting because if you get Ebola you have a chance of looing everything you love and might not be able to ever see the people you love or what you lover ever again. There really is no cure for the EVD but there are ways you can treat it like getting therapy to maintain oxygen levels, providing fluids and electrolytes, using medicine to support the blood preasure and treat anyother infections. There is currently no antiviral drug licensed by the US food and drug Administration. The EVD is a strange disease to study on and is crazy on how it works, it still is iinteresting but not as much because i know more about it now than i did before i rote this essay/typed. Ebola is very strange of how the disease works the cures and just everything about it.
