An animated musical film, “Sing,” was released in the year 2016 that was written and directed by Garth Jennings and Christophe Lourdelet and was released in the year 2016. This movie is about family and comedy using animated animals as the characters. The film begins in a world of anthropomorphic animals, a Koala who is one of the main characters playing the lead, Buster Moon, is worried about how to save and preserve his theater that was once grand theater but has fallen from closure that is having a financial problem. He starts planning to host a competition in the city. Among them, Buster then meets the son of mobster gorilla Johnny who wants to be a singer, housewife mother pig Rosita who wants to make her dream come true, rocker porcupine Ash pretends to perform her own songs, teenager elephant Meena pretends to prove her courage to sing, musician mouse Mike who wants to be famous, are selected from the audition and also main characters. It also introduces the back stories and private life of each contestant character and also reflects their individuality. They are all playing an important role that has their own personality and reality humanlike lives in the movie. In the meantime, they paid pride to the competition and experienced difficulties in their lives.

In the movie, Buster playing the lead role thinks of a way that he could hold a singing competition to increase the reputation of his theater so he asks his assistance, an iguana Miss Crawly to print posters but she accidentally adds two more zeroes to the prize money and misprinted. A major misunderstanding begins when all the posters fly out of the window but Buster is still decided to hide the truth in order to preserve his theater. When the truth is discovered and the contestants are angry and disappointed then they leave. Once Buster chooses to conceal the deception, he must have the responsibility to bear the consequences. He is not a bad person although he lied but this lie affected the contestants’ values and hopes to the competition is being destroyed. It is a deception that uses the trust of others to present oneself with benefits in exchange. This behavior will make us lose people or precious things we care about.

Johnny is the son of a mobster Big Daddy, they are having conflicts sometimes when they robbed banks or drive cars. Most of the time, his father says something like “You are not doing it right, Johnny! Speed up, Johnny! Do it like I showed you,”. This makes Johnny only to obey his father. Unfortunately, it is not going well that the competition is canceled because of Buster and the lot of the theater is repossessed. Meena really hopes to perform on the stage so she goes to the rubble of the theater and sings. This makes Buster decides to inspire a stage for Meena and the contestants who want to perform.
